A newly rebranded version of the team formerly known as Springfield Stin, with new management, are coming to Worcester on December 8th. The Western Mass Zombies feature Charles Okwandu (UCONN) and Tylon Smith (Southern Connecticut State) as well as Worcester's Devine Coleman (Springfield Tech) and former Becker player Matt Petrides.
The 78's had a strong rivalry emerging last season with the team now known as Zombies. Playing the team six times to a 4-2 season series win. Although the 78s won the series, this team dealt half of the 78's loses on the season.
